Polar Plunge Warm-Up

Each year on New Years Day NorthStar Church braves the cold to bring a little warmth to the thousands of people attempting the Polar Plunge. We serve coffee and hot chocolate to participants and spectators in order to show how much we care about our community. And we have a lot of fun while doing it!

Bennett's Perspective:

"Unlike most churches, NorthStar actually takes winter aquatics athletes very seriously. We don't think swimming, running, and biking prooves your toughness no matter how far you go, UNLESS you do it in subfreezing temperatures. Athletes prepare for the Polar Plunge all year and we are here to cheer them on. They inspire us; so we support them."
